Today I’m sharing a fun project I made using the new Yummy-licious stamp set from My Pink Stamper.
I thought it would be fun to create a gift card holder for a yummy treat to give to a friend or to say “thank you” to someone. This is a flat card…meaning, there is no fold and it does not open. It measures 5.5 x 4.25 inches.
To create a slot for the gift card, I punched the top layer with the Stampin Up Word Window punch. I mounted the punched layer using some foam dimensional tape to the other layers. This allows the gift card to slip in easily. Make sure the foam tape (or dimensionsals) line the bottom portion of the layer where the gift card will slip in….this keeps it from falling out the bottom.
I stamped the “A special TREAT for you because you are special to me!” and “Enjoy” stamps from the Yummy-licious stamp set by My Pink Stamper in Early Espresso ink by Stampin Up and placed one of the hears that the Martha Stewarts border punch left as scrap to the end of the banner.
Here are the details on cuts and products I used for this card:
- My Pink Stamper Yummylicious Stamp Set
- Everyday Pop Up Cards Cricut Cartridge
- Cup and layers cut at 3.5 inches
- My Mind’s Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky 6x6 paper pad
- Stampin Up Early Espresso, Rich Razzleberry, Crumb Cake and Very Vanillia card stock
- Martha Steward heart border punch
- Stampin Up Word Window punch
- We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper
- Stampin Up Basic Rhinestones
