Hello Inked Rose
There is something about patterned paper that excites me! As a card maker, I find myself stocking up on 6x6 paper pads. They're perfect for card making, because the scale is often reduced to fit the 6x6 paper size. When I saw this Inked Rose collection from We R Memory Keepers, I knew I had to have it. I've been completely crushing on navy and floral lately, and this pad combines them. But don't worry, if you're not a floral kind of girl, there are plenty of other fun patterns in this collection! Stripes, graffiti print, geometrics…this pad has it all.
I've combined the paper pad with the Albums Made Easy Instagram Album Cards from the same collection. This allowed me to quickly add a coordinating sentiment, without pulling out my stamps. It was a fun and easy way to make a quick card!
For this card, I've pulled out one of my favorite sets EVER from We R Memory Keepers….the Tag It Kit. I've used this set so many times…and it never gets old. That tag is the perfect scale for cards!
Remember those cork embellishments I cut and saved for later in this post? I used a heart on the front of the card. I just love these cork embellishments. They cut like butter with my We R Memory Keepers dies. The cork is a great addition of texture too! It works on masculine or feminine cards. And it's neutral color makes it so versatile.
