You're The Best
I know I've been gone for quite some time. I have honestly been trying to get to the craft room and film a video, but life has a way of keeping me extremely busy right now! Luckily, today I got out of class a bit early, so I raced home to film a video while my kids were still at school. I actually ended up getting two filmed...so I have one ready for next week (great for me since I'll be with my mom at Stanford most of next week).
I was able to do some serious crafting this past weekend. I actually was playing along with all the National Scrapbook Day challenges posted on My Pink Stamper's site. She does a big blog party every year with tons of giveaways and challenges. This year there were 12. Since it was Mother's Day weekend, I didn't feel a bit guilty about holing up in my craft room to play for a while on Saturday and Sunday. You can see all of my projects on my Flickr site (linked in the left sidebar of my blog). I was keeping the projects simple in order to create something for every challenge.
Today's card is actually a card I used for a Mother's Day card. I combined several tools, stamp sets and techniques to create this card. I used my Lifestyle Crafts dies, my Cricut, stamps by Hero Arts and Stampin' Up, watercolor wonder crayons, a Sakura Gelly Roll pen, a Viva Decor Pearl Pen and paper by DCWV. There's even a button! Wow. I think there's something for everyone!
I'd love to hear what you did for Mother's Day weekend. Did you get spoiled? Did you find some "me" time? I hope you did!
Enjoy your day! I'll be back soon with another card and video for you!
Just a note...I'm always open for suggestions. Is there something you want to see? Let me know.
