Simple Stenciled Ink Blending Slim Line Card - Pinkfresh Studio October 2020 Release Blog Hop
Today I’m sharing a slim line card featuring a stenciled pattern. I’ll be using the brand new Inverted Diamond Slim Line Stencil from Pinkfresh Studio, which is a part of their October 2020 release, available today! ❤︎
I really wanted to share with you that ink blending over a stencil really doesn’t have to be perfect….you’ll still end up with a great card. It’s so much fun to create a multicolored stenciled background and overlay it with some glitter paste, too. I kept it simple today and didn’t add the glitter paste, but it would be such a fun and sparkly addition to this card.
The slim line card I’m creating today fits in a #9 envelope. The finished card measures 3 5/8 inches by 8 5/8 inches. I cut my card stock to measure 8 5/8 by 7 ¼ inches and scored the cardstock at 3 5/8 to create my card base. I cut the card panel to measure 3 3/8 x 8 3/8 inches. If you prefer to skip 1/8 inch measurements, you could definitely create a card that is 3 ½ by 8 ½ inches.
I’ll be walking you through the creation of this card in today’s video tutorial, so be sure to check it out for all the details…and proof that you don’t have to have a perfect blend. I’m telling you, it looked like a hot mess when the stencil was still in place.
