Rainbow Shadow Stacked Sentiment Die Cuts
Today I’m creating a card with a rainbow shadow stacked die cut sentiment and products from Hello Bluebird. I love this technique, because it’s a great way to add a splash of color to any card…without it becoming overwhelming.
I’m a fan of stacking delicate die cut sentiments. It’s a great way to add dimension and help really make them a focal point on the front of your card. I often use all one color die cut to achieve this dimension and faux chipboard effect. Today, I’m going to add a little color to this technique by creating a rainbow of stacked sentiments. This color won’t be visible when you’re looking at the card straight on….but will peek out when the card is angled.
I’ve created another card using this technique to share for my Satur-YAY monthly feature on the EllenHutson.com blog. If you want to see more, be sure to check out that post as well!
I’ve included lots of photos in the gallery below for your viewing pleasure!
