One Background, Two Cards
Today I'm going to show you how I created two cards with one completed background, featuring the new Quilted Background stamp from Neat & Tangled. This fun, geometric background is great for creating funky cards, like the 80's inspired cards I'm creating today.
I stamped and colored the Quilted Background just once on some heavyweight weight card stock, in a Copic friendly ink. I then colored it with some bright colors. The 80's called, they want their colors back. I was then able to cut that completed background in to several parts, and create a couple of cards.
I also used the new Barnyard Buddies stamps and dies. I masked the portion of the banner sentiment stamp prior to inking it to create a wavy banner sentiment that just says "It's Your Birthday".
