How To Use A Coverplate Background Die On A 5x7 Card
Today I’m sharing how to use a cover plate background die on a 5x7 card. I created this Mother’s Day card for my mother this year and since I’ll have plenty to say, and I had lots of elements for the front of the card, I decided to make a 5x7 card rather than the traditional A2 sized card that I usually make. I know it’s a little past Mother’s Day when I’m sharing this, but this card could be used for many occasions by changing up the sentiment.
This card features the Magnolia stamps, die and layering stencils from Pinkfresh Studio, along with the Inticate Stitched Ovals Coverplate background die. This cover plate creates a pierced pattern on your card stock, but doesn’t cut an outer edge, which allows me to use it on a larger card. I’ll show you exactly how I did this in today’s video, so be sure to check it out.
