Hot Foil Stamp Holiday Cards
Today I'm sharing two ideas for creating with the Essentials By Ellen Hot Foil Stamps. These are a fabulous way to add some shine to your holiday projects. And I know you're going to ❤︎ them.
Hot foil stamps are similar to a die, but instead of cutting blades, they are solid metal, which is used to press foil on to your project using heat and pressure. You can think of it like a metal stamp. These need both heat and pressure to transfer and press the foil on to your project. You will need something like a Crafters Companion Foil Press or the Spellbinders Glimmer machine to use these. You can use them with your die cut machine and skip the foil and heat if you just want to create a faux letterpress look.
I'm sharing two cards today. These are fabulous for the holiday season because they have that bit of shine that makes them extra special.
Be sure to check out today's video tutorial. I'm going to show you how to use these hot foil stamps and create some easy and sparkly holiday cards. I'll give you some tips along the way as well.
If you want a more in depth look at the Foil Press, be sure to check out THIS video that I created. I absolutely LOVE my foil press. If you don’t have one….maybe it would be a great Christmas gift to yourself!
