File Folder Card Thinking Of You
Hello! It's looking a little like Spring around here {it's not feeling like it but it sure is looking like it}. Maybe the sun shining through my craft room window is what inspired me to create this very springy card. Aren't the colors fabulous?
All of the stamps and the die used to create this card are exclusive to Simon Says Stamp. I love their line of exclusive products. And I wish I could write like that! These particular stamps are designed by Kristina at kwernerdesign.com. I've linked all of the products used on this project below.

I created the file folder front with my Silhouette Studio software. I created something similar to this for a scrapbook page that I made last year for National Scrapbook Day. I have a "how to" Silhouette video, walking you through the creation of this file folder on my YouTube channel. You can find that video here.
You will notice that I added some stitching to this card. I recently rearranged a few things in my craft room to allow my sewing machine to be out and plugged in at all times. I'm now finding myself adding a bit of stitching to everything. I love the handmade touch it gives. I know I'm a bit behind on this trend. I must admit, sewing is intimidating to me. But the more I use it, the more I love it! Don't be surprised if a bit of machine stitching pops up on several of my projects.
