Sweet Scoops With A Cherry On Top

Hello everyone!  This week is flying by!  I can't believe tomorrow is Friday.  I just don't feel like I have enough time to get everything done this week.

Today is my niece's 4th birthday.  I wanted to make a card with bright colors and a little bit of glitter.  I love the A Word For You stamp set, so that's where I started for this card.  Then I started digging through my stamp sets to see which one had "a cherry on top" to match the sentiment.  I ended up using the Sweet Scoops stamp set.

I have to admit, as I was planning this card, I wasn't quite sure that I would like the colors.  I wanted to use red and yellow (because her gift had a lot of red and yellow in it).  I decided to use green as the third color. I started with Wild Wasabi, but ended up liking the Pear Pizzazz much better.  In the end, I was thrilled with this card...and I think I may have to use this one for a stamp club project.

I hope you have a wonderful day!  I am off to school.  I have school tomorrow too.  An extra day at school this week and next for my IV certification.  You know what the worst part is?  My husband doesn't have school tomorrow.  He has a furlough day and I have to go to school on a day that I would normally have off!  It's so annoying.
