School, and Kids and Training...Oh My!
Hello everyone! It's been quite a week and I thought I'd check in. My kids were home from school all week. Their school has one week off in October for Fall Intercession and it disrupts the flow around here. On top of that, I had my midterm on Thursday. So between studying for that, keeping my children entertained and training for next week's 10K, I've been a busy girl.
I have my idea for my next video planned out...and I plan on filming that sometime next week. I apologize that I didn't get to it this week. It has been on my to do list, but other priorities knocked it down a few notches.
On a happy note, I only have two weeks of clinicals remaining this semester. I will be done at the end of October. I will only be in school one day a week for the remainder of the semester. I am so excited about that. I will have time to do fun things for the holidays. It's the "most wonderful time of the year". I've already been singing Christmas carols at the top of my lungs and my husband is not amused.
I hope you have some fun things planned for the weekend. I am going to play Bunco at a hospital Guild fundraiser. My grandma was a guild member for 20 years and served a couple years as the Guild President. This is an event that we have been participating in for years. My grandma is no longer able to serve on the guild, but the hospital has always been close to her heart. It makes her so proud that I will soon be a nurse there.
We are also planning on watching baseball (we are big time Giants fans) and football (hoping my Fantasy Football team pulls out another win). And we won our softball game last night (my husband and I play on a co-ed softball team). And of course, we will be attending church tomorrow morning.
What are you planning for the weekend? I'd love to hear from you! Enjoy your day!
