Perfect Punches Card
Hello everyone. I hope you week is going well. The good news is it's Friday! The weekend is here and I hope you have some fun plans.
The other day, I needed a quick card for a friend's birthday. I went to my craft room, threw some stuff together and this is what I came up with. I was pleased with the way it turned out, so I decided to make a video on it.
I used my Sizzix Big Kick (Sizzix Big Shot...they're the same thing) and the Scallop Oval Frame die from Stampin Up for the centerpiece. I also used my Big Kick again with the Elegant Lines embossing folder to emboss the oval and the background piece. I love the Elegant Lines embossing folder and I think you will be seeing me use it more often. The Big Kick was also used to cut out the label shape behind the smaller oval.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Perfect Punches stamp set. This stamp set was designed to work with some of your favorite Stampin Up punches. I stamped the sentiment in Whisper White craft ink and then embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I used my wide oval punch to punch it out.
Overall, this is a very simple card...but it looks like it takes a lot of time and effort.
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day!
