Rainbow Wishes Birthday Card
Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great week!
I have a quick project for you today...using the Cricut Expression. I really need some birthday cards in my stash, so I thought I would use the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge to create a birthday card perfect for a little girl. I used the "cards" feature button to cut the card base at 3.5 inches. The card fits in an A2 size envelope.
The polka dot papers are Stampin Up's brights patterned papers. The colors I used are Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise. The sentiment is from a Stampin Up set called Heard From the Heart.
To add dimension to the card, I used dimensionals to attach the cloud on the front of the card. I also used twine from The Twinery. To create the background on the cloud, I used Hero Arts' Magical Background cling stamp and Soft Sky ink. To finish it off, I used Star Dust Stickles because what little girl doesn't love a little glitter?
Have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!
